It’s shapes week and we’ve been very busy learning about shapes. I added a printable shapes booklet yesterday and here’s how I used it in our home classroom:

This is the Shapes Booklet Printable in action. I printed it and put it in a flip file.

We read the name of the shapes aloud.

We traced the outline of the shape with our fingers and he drew the outline with a wipe away marker. If your child is more advanced then they could cut out the shape.

We outlined the shapes with building blocks. Playdoh is a great alternative.

He traced the outline of the shapes with his car.
