The Happiest Baby on Crasulla Crescent has a Bad Day was inspired by my children. My son and I collect his sister from school in the afternoon and meet different kinds of people along the way. He is really happy most of the time, but I thought what would happen if he lost his favourite teddy bear along the way. The idea struck me as we were walking to school one afternoon and I thought it would make a great story. So here it is…

The Happiest Baby on Crasulla Crescent has a Bad Day tells the tale of Andrew and his best friend, Eddie. Crasulla Crescent has the greenest, leafiest, tallest trees, the friendliest, kindest neighbours and the furriest, funniest, cutest pets. Andrew lives at number 54 and he is known as the happiest baby in the entire neighbourhood. His best friend, Eddie, is a stuffed toy elephant that he plays with all day. They embark on an adventure to his older sister’s school, but he loses Eddie along the way. Will he get Eddie back or will he have to settle for a substitute furry friend?

The Happiest Baby on Crasulla Crescent has a Bad Day shows the value of looking out for each other and sometimes help can come from the most unexpected places. Its long text and vibrant pictures are sure to keep junior grade readers entertained. The story can be read aloud to your children and it is easy enough for them to read on their own. The Happiest Baby on Crasulla Crescent has a Bad Day is perfect for children aged 5 to 8 and has a great moral hidden in a fun story.

I hope you and your children enjoy the book.

Let me know what you think.

Stay Blessed.
