Siberian Saturday: Easy Three Ingredient Dog Treats.

Easy Three Ingredient Dog Treats.jpg

I love making these treats for Sam and Max and they certainly love eating them. They get a treat each once a day. The great things about these treats are that they are packed with benefits and they taste great at the same time!

Ingredients:

1 Cup of Coconut Oil

1 Cup of Natural Peanut Butter

½ Cup of Brewer’s Yeast

Instructions:

Melt the coconut oil; add the peanut butter and brewer’s yeast.

Pour the mixture into moulds or ice cube trays.

Freeze until solid.

These treats can be stored in the fridge or freezer for up to 6 months.

Coconut oil has many benefits for dogs, which include:

Reducing bad breath

Shinier coats

Reduced dry or itchy skin

Anti-inflammatory properties

Aids in treating ticks and fleas

Brewer’s yeast also has loads of benefits for dogs, which include:

Biting insect repellent, like fleas and mosquitoes

Healthier coat

Source of protein

Relieves stress in high anxiety dogs

Aids in dog’s digestive health

Give these treats a try! Feel free to half the ingredients to see whether your dog likes the treats. You could also leave the Brewer’s yeast out. Either way, they make great treats!

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you!

Love and Blessings,
