Siberian Saturday: Berry Hunting Husky Style

We have a tree in our garden that produces berries and when these berries are ripe they fall from the tree. This is the first time that our dogs have seen or experienced this, because they weren’t even born this time last year.

They spend their days sleeping under the tree, waiting for a berry to fall so that they can devour it.

My huskies scrambling to eat the berries that have just fallen.

*Look at all the pips!

The berry addiction has become serious. They spend all day waiting for a berry and neglect their toys. Even the mailman can’t disturb them!

      1. Thank you so much. It’s Sam’s first birthday this week and we are so excited to be spending it with her. 🙂 She’s a stray so I’m guesstimating her birthday, but it’s a birthday none the less.

  1. That’s so cute. So long as they don’t have any berry allergies! 🙂 At mum’s place Harry used to love eating the nectarines when they fell from the trees. But not before chasing them round and rolling them like they were a ball! 🙂
