It’s Sam’s First Birthday!

It’s this beauty’s first birthday!

This was her at 5 weeks old (when she walked into our yard). She’s really grown into a wonderful girl.

We don’t know her exact birth date, but we know it’s between the 10th and the 17th of May so we’ve decided that we will celebrate it on the last possible day. She should be one year old by now. 🙂

  1. Happy Birthday Sam! No dogs here. My Shih Tzu, Gracie Lou, passed away at 12 years old a few years ago and I don’t know if I’ll ever have another friend as good as she was.

      1. We think so. We’re hoping that because he’s full grown and only 22 pounds — he believes he’s a lap dog, and so he is — he’ll be around for many years to come. ❤

      3. He does! I’ve learned to write when he’s in my lap (it’s a lot slower — lol), but I can’t sew with him there. He doesn’t seem to understand the difference. 😉

      7. Haha! If you can sew a straight line, you can make many things. Like curtains and tablecloths. Even some clothes! But I venture to say that if you can sew a straight line, you can sew a curved line and nothing can stop you from making anything at all! ❤
