Here’s a throwback to one of the many visits we’ve had to the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch in Philadelphia. These photos were taken WAY before the Little One was born, but we made some wonderful memories on this day. It is the perfect place to go for a Sunday breakfast of scrambled ostrich eggs, stir fried ostrich strips and the most delicious homebaked farm bread.
They are also known to have the world’s smallest ostrich, which we were able to meet on our tour of the farm.
Our fantastic tour guide feeding the ostrich.
Mr feeding the ostrich – he was more relaxed than I was about this.
I was absolutely terrified.
I did it!
Lots of ostriches to be seen.
A very young Madam standing on 2 ostrich eggs.
The smallest ostrich in the world.
Finally, an ostrich that isn’t intimidating.

I hope you enjoyed this throwback post and please make a stop at the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch if you are in the area. For more information on the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch visit Cape Town Ostrich Ranch’s Website.
