My 501st Post and A New Haircut

I got this lovely notification yesterday, after posting my usual Manifestation Monday post:

I had written my 500th post! So I’d like to thank all my followers and readers for joining me on this blogging journey. Here’s to the next 500!

 

In other news, I got a new haircut.

I’m not into taking selfies at all, but I’m so pleased with my haircut that I had to show it off.

I’ve been contemplating cutting my hair for over a year now and obsessing over it for about a month now. Check my Pinterest board if you don’t believe me.

So I finally made the appointment last Friday and this brought an immediate sense of panic as I feared that my hairdresser would not be able to execute the hairstyle in the way I wanted. I even had nightmares about it.

I have been growing my hair since my son was born so that’s over three years ago and a change was way past due. I was fearful of letting go of the past and embracing the better future.

I’ve also been going through a lot lately and as she was cutting my hair I visualized all my stress, worries and fears falling away as well.

So here’s to new hair and a new attitude!
