I know it isn’t December yet, but I couldn’t resist getting into the holiday spirit this year.
The Little One is three years old now and somewhat understands the concept of Christmas and I felt like it was finally time to get a tree.
We actually bought and decorated the tree on the same day. It was a tree and decorations special that I couldn’t resist, especially now that I don’t have the time to shop as much as I used to.
He wanted to investigate the contents of the box as soon as we got home and enjoyed adding the decorations more than I anticipated he would.
The tree is still a work in progress and we’ll add the rest of the trimmings when Mr gets here (just in time for Christmas).
I’m looking forward to Christmas, mostly because that’s when we will be seeing Mr again.
Here’s our progress so far:

Love and Blessings,
We haven’t started decorating yet. We moved to our Homestead this summer, and with all the projects, we are still living among boxes. I’m excited to start decorating. I love this time of the year!!

Awe, thanks!! It’s been a lot of work getting it all done. And while we’re not even close to be done, it does give me a lot of fodder for my blog, so I guess that’s not a bad thing.

And… Probably work on my grammar. Ha ha Ha ha ha! I use my phone a lot, and use talk to text. Either I’m not proofing well enough or it’s changing the words as I send. I want to believe it’s the latter.

I know a lot of people are in the mood to decorate early this year, but we will probably wait until after Thanksgiving later this month. I think getting down the Christmas decorations from the attic will have to snowball into cleaning out the garage . . .

Awww your tree is lovely, and it looks big 🙂 I am so pleased your little one is enjoying this time of year. It is so nice that he understands more and will be thoroughly involved. These are special times my friend. Take lots of pics 🙂
We will only put up our tree a little later, but I must say I am loving being in the shops this time of year and looking at all the Christmas decorations and gifts.
Christmas will be here before we know it 🙂 and I am so happy Mr will be home with you and little one ❤
