I’d like to share a bit of writer’s humor I stumbled upon on Pinterest this morning.
This happens to me all the time. My dream or day dream stories far surpass what I manage to get down before hours of editing. Does this happen to you too?

It’s funny you should post this today. In the wee hours of this morning I was reading through my unfinished stories (I always save them). I came across this short story that I had started. As I read it I didn’t recognize it. I thought it was someone’s story that I liked and saved but it was not complete so I knew I must have written it a while ago. Try to remember here that I am 73 and my memory is not what it used to be. To get to the point, I liked it and started typing and in a couple of hours I finished it. I posted it on my blog. I have titled it “Mrs. Hardgraves-David. I like the way it turned out. If you stop by my blog do let me know what you think.
To answer you question, yes. I just type what little I remember and put it in my save folder, I might not use it for quite some time but then other times it surprises me. :o)

Yes! That’s why I try to write down my ideas on paper when they come.

Haha! I had one of those moments this morning at 2AM. I bolted out of the bed and wrote down some thoughts I had. I really need a bedside journal though 🙂
