A Visit to Cape Town Ostrich Ranch

Here’s a throwback to one of the many visits we’ve had to the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch in Philadelphia. These photos were taken WAY before the Little One was born, but we made some wonderful memories on this day. It is the perfect place to go for a Sunday breakfast of scrambled ostrich eggs, stir fried ostrich strips and the most delicious homebaked farm bread.

They are also known to have the world’s smallest ostrich, which we were able to meet on our tour of the farm.

    1. People ride them, I’m just not one of those people. Haha! The internet says one ostrich egg is the same as 24 chicken eggs, which means that a whole lot of mouths are fed from one egg. It doesn’t taste very different from a chicken egg actually. Thanks for reading this 🙂
