Communication is key in developing a positive relationship with your step child/ren. It’s been a bit difficult or different on the communication front with me and my step daughter, because she lives far away. I came up with ten questions to bring us closer and guage where we are in our relationship.
I asked her the following questions telephonically. Feel free to download and print this questionnaire to ask your step children.
Here are the answers she gave for some of the questions, there are some that she did not answer:
She was so sweet and these questions gave me so much insight. I love opening the channels of communication with Madam and I hope these questions will bring you and your step child closer as well.

She won’t be back at my house for 3 weeks, but I will use it then. I have been trying to figure out how to connect better with her. She turned 10 yesterday and I met her at 4. She is very quiet and introverted, the exact opposite of me. This interview might help me to gain some perspective though 🙂
